Responsibilities:   coordinating the commercialization initiatives of new product launches and current product management. Manage projects by working with key cross functional partners including Supply Chain, Product Development, Sales, Quality Assurance, and Marketing to commercialize and manage products.  Specific duties include:

  • Developing and executing project trackers and managing actions and deliverables on time and on target to coordinate timely and accurate flow of information
  • Support Director of Business Ops in establishing product launch strategy; assisting to determine requirements, milestones, deadlines and action planning and execution
  • Support customer service, marketing, and sales to provide updates of current product line life cycle and new product launches to prepare for key account calls
  • Under the guidance of the Director of Operations, manage updates of social media accounts
  • Assist Director of Business Ops and Product Development team with production trial runs of new products; tracking and communicating progress, organizing timelines and deliverables
  • Support with new product costing; utilizing material and production costs anticipating volume
  • Work with Supply Chain Planner to provide demand forecasts and purchasing plans to support new product launch and monitor performance against targets
  • Update the product master data in the system
  • Manage active product changes. Coordinate product end of life obsolescence including developing raw material liquidation plans.
  • Support product marketing objectives of existing and new product lines
  • Assist with market assessment of products against competitors
  • Assist with tradeshow coordination, including registrations and post-show marketing campaign
  • Assist the Director of Business Ops with supply chain and customer projects as needed.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Supply Chain or a related field plus

  • A minimum of 2 years in supply chain, product management, project management or other related areas
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in food or CPG  is a plus
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Knowledge of ERP systems; Sage X3 experience a plus
  • Willing to act in situations with uncertain outcomes making educated decisions with confidence and analysis
  • Proficiency with Office suites, as well as ability & willingness to learn new software applications
